How the programme works

IMS Metals & Alloys is a specialist metals recovery and supply company serving the global nickel refining, stainless steel, superalloy, titanium and refractory-metals industries. Through an international network of specialist processing facilities and laboratories, we develop and manage tailored recovery, processing and blending routes for complex, mixed and off-spec materials.

The blending programme

A blending programme built around complex materials.

Through our network of specialist processing facilities, IMS develops and manages tailored nickel-based blends for refiners, alloy producers and stainless steel mills — maximising recoverable metal content and reducing unnecessary downgrading.

    Complex materials in

    Mixed lots, off-spec alloys and difficult-to-place metal-bearing materials are assessed according to chemistry, form and condition.

    Blended for the melt

    Processing and blending routes are developed around the requirements of nickel refineries, alloy producers and stainless steel mills.

    Value preserved

    Materials are directed toward the most suitable metallurgical route, helping preserve valuable nickel and other recoverable metal units.
